VR section with respect to new MCAT computer format

Hey people.
(Im using my Bro's SDN account by the way, because im too lazy to find my old password for mine ^^)

From 2007 onwards mcat going to be delivered via computer.

This is a bit annoying with respect to the verbal passages.

I spent a long time developing a personal VR strategy that involved a whole slew of pre-determined symbols.


I was scoring very well on the VR section using my method, and hence was "a bit at ease" that when I took the MCAT in two years I wouldnt have to worry too much about the Verbal.

Now its goin to be given with computer.

Lol, I cant really draw symbols all over the computr screen now can I ? And even if I do draw my symbols, they will get shifted around when i scroll up and down .

Anyway, what do you guys think? Computer based MCAT increse diffuclty of the VR section since you cannot even underline stuff?

From what I have heard from people (not sure how true), there will be some sort of highliter on the computer. I am guessing that they will also have a pen to write stuff, and that there will be margins as well. I doubt you would really have an adv or disadv.

No matter what I do I'm stuck at 8 in VR 🙁🙁

The CBT as it stands now, does not have a highlight function. On the AAMC practice tests, the highlighting option is there. From what I have heard, the highlight and cross out function etc, will be available for the January CBT.
