Case, BU, Tufts, NYU, and Temple look at the without +/- and I believe a few more schools from the NE region as well, but I don't remember which ones...
Minnesota looks at +/-

Thanks Princess.
Did you find this out by contacting the school directly?
Does anyone know about the U of MN?

When you say they look at grades "without +/-," do you mean that they round any A- up to an A and any B-,B,B+ to simply a B? I don't understand why on earth schools would do this when the AADSAS calculates the GPA already?

I find the +/- system frustrating. I went to an undergrad that DID NOT give out A+ , so the highest you could get was an A, even though percentage-wise it might have been an "A+". It's frustrating to see people with gpa's that are greater than 4.0!
I took all my sciences at a school that doesnt even do the +/- system and it's been a pain. I agree, there is a HUGE difference between a B- and a B+, a C- and a C+! It's frustrating to see my B+ turn into a B at 3.0 when at another school it would have yielded a higher gpa.
I wish the dental schools would be able to see my real grades for those classes. Ho well. Rant. No system is perfect.
I really think it works both ways.
My schools give out A+'s. My gpa without the +/- is 0.01 higher than with +/- (and A+ = 4.33) and I have 6 A+'s on my transcript.

I s there any official source where this information is listed (such as in the ADEA book)? Or do you just have to call schools to find out?Wow, I had no idea that this even existed. I feel like that's going to hurt my gpa.I s there any official source where this information is listed (such as in the ADEA book)? Or do you just have to call schools to find out?
