I’m applying for pediatrics away rotations at my top three choices in my top choice city. Two of the programs have already opened their application and the third doesn’t open yet for a few weeks. Should I apply now to those two now and if I get offers at them, will I not be able to wait to hear back from the third program?

Basically what I am asking is how long will I have to accept or turn down each offer and how bad is it to turn down an offer if I get one I would rather take?

I think they give a week to make a decision generally. The “does it look bad” thing is a whole other discussion that’s probably specialty dependent.
