Ok so I got myself in a bind by registering for a hard physics class this summer. I got D's on the first two tests and the best I can get in the class now is a B without a curve. The prof says no curve but some students say there will be one in the end. I don't know who to believe. I've been keeping up with the homework and reading, going to all the classes etc... but the tests are Hard and a third of the questions use calculus and integration. I'm working part time and reapplying to med schools this year as well. I've already submitted my AMCAS application but they are waiting on one of my transcripts to come in. My question is would it be worse to drop the class now and get a W on my transcript, or to stick it out and take what will probably be a C if my current trend is any indication. I already have 2 W's on my transcript. Thanks for your help.

I would stick with it and get that out of the way unless you think you could do better next time around. Also, if it doesn't hurt your GPA too much.

I think I could do better next time. It's just the summer is accelerated and we have homework like every other day so I need a timeout to catch up and really get up to speed. Anybody else?

Depends on how much of a hit your GPA will take. Is it more than ADCOMS seeing a pattern develop with tougher classes?
