Hello everyone I am new to this but I am going insane and am looking for some encouragement hopefully. I am number three on the wait list for a DPT school. It's now June and their program starts in late August. I am curious as to what my chances are? Any insight would be great! Thanks

IMO and experience reading the forum postings.....Depends on if they have offered and received deposits for all their seats. Depends on the school. State Univ. usually have more committed apps since the tuition is resonable.....I am #7 for my state univ (starts Aug) and I know they have all their deposits in, so I am pretty sure I won't be called, I am going to the school I am accepted at out of state and private. They start July and were still filling seats in May........... My luck I will get a call after I get settled in mid July........aaaaghhh! Good Luck

It's at a college called Utica. It's a small private college. The offers are out though however :/

This may make you feel better... last year during the application process I got waitlisted at many schools and only got accepted to 1 (which I still wasn't very happy about because it was so expensive that I was considering reapplying the next year.) By the time June came I had the mindset that these other schools were not going to accept me off the waitlist, and none would let me know where I was on the lists. But finally, in the middle of July one of them accepted me, and then in August just two weeks before classes, another one accepted me. There is still hope for you, especially being third on the list!

I'd say really high chance at acceptance. My wife went through orientation at her school May 23rd and they called someone in off the wait list the day before orientation. As hard as the waiting game is, being number three is a great spot to be in. If it was me I would have a plan in place for getting accepted because you probably will be.

I was a little further down the waitlist than you two years ago and got accepted in April for classes that started the first week of June

Well I'm now number two on their waitlist. They keep their waitlist open until August 28th which is when they start. I am insanely nervous. I want this so bad.

U got 2 months left. Keep your head up. Was Utica the only place u got wait listed in? What were ur stats for that place?
