Hi

A lil background information about me. I just turned 25 and I got a bachelors in information systems in dec 2004. This past spring semester I went back and took some classes. (chem I, calc I, microbio, signed up for chem II for summer session). Right now my current GPA is a 3.17. I didnt find out about formal post bacc programs till now and deadlines for the upcoming fall semester have already passed, which leads me to my troubles.

The thing giving me trouble in deciding basically is that most schools only allow very little course work to be completed if you are applying into their program, which is totally understandable. But since the deadlines for this upcoming fall semester have already passed. Is it a good idea to not take any classes this semester in order to apply to these post bacc programs?

What I don't want to happen is that I take a semester break in the fall so I can meet the requirements for these post bacc program and not get in. That would leave me even further behind. During the semester I would go try to get as much clinical experience as possible.

Thanks for the help!
