Wait to take DAT or take once now and take it again 3 month later?

Hell guys once again,

You guys have given me soooo much help on the last previous quotes. So I have another question.......i'm scheduled to take the DAT on june 17. I'm currently studyin for it. Just start like a week ago only. So technically I have two more weeks. I don't know how really I'm gonna be. But I was thinking if I don't do too well, I can retake it again in 3 month, which is mid september....is that too late? I was hoping that it wouldn't. But if it is, then would it be better if I just wait and take it in like end of July or beginning of August? But then taking DAT one time seems so risky........gosh, i'm so undecided, wat you guy think?

I agree. Do NOT take the DAT if you are not completely ready.

Just study hard and take the DAT in July or August (this is not late at all). When you are well prepared you will feel less scared about taking the DAT only once (or needing to think about retaking it in 3 months time).

Periodically do some sample tests to guage your readiness.

I agree, taking it early will give you no advantages except a care-free summer (assuming you do well)

study hard and take it once in August. IF, and only if, you don't too well, it won't be too late to take it again in November.

why not just take it in a month? Forget about taking it once now and then again later. Postpone your dat if you don't feel ready (you never will feel fully prepared anyways) study hard for three weeks then take it.

take it in july or august if u dont feel ready but take it once and give it ur all. studying for it over and over is a real pain in the @ss if you ask me

I've heard that if you plan on taking it more than once, you better be sure to do better on the second one. Doing worse would look awful! Take your time and do it right. Even though it's nerve racking, you'll be glad to do it once and be done with it. I can't imagine studying for that thing again.
