There's a really amazing Facebook group that basically taught me everything about proper bra fitting and it was very eye opening. They explain things simply enough that I could grasp it haha. Before that I also just went with whatever stores (usually VS) told me but damn my boobs look so much better now haha

I feel this while simultaneously being jealous haha. I used to wear a 36C and technically still can (and wouldn't it be great cause they're so cheapppp) but my true size is more of a 30G aka expensive AF 😳

Ugh I know! I used to be a 30F in skinnier times and even those were so hard to find at a reasonable price. But now that I know how my bosom can look I can't go back

Oh yeah I am super passionate about bra sizes lol. I convinced the person who sits next to me (also my best vet school friend) to get fitted and she was amazed. She just replied to me later "I have huge bazungas"

I wear a 30c (when I actually wear something besides bralettes) and most people would never believe it because I'm small chested and they have false notions about what a C actually means. I used to think I was a 32a and man that was a bad time...

I got fitted in like 8th grade as a B cup then got randomly measured like four years ago and found out I am actually like a 32D. What was weird was that I told one of my friends right after this discovery and she literally just had the same thing happen to her with the same bra size. Bras, man. If only it wasn't uncomfortable to always where a one-size fits all sports bra.

Don't be jealous lol it is very hard to find bras in smaller band sizes than 32 XD
And I am assuming those in the thread with 30s and larger cups also have an extremely difficult time

I found out my true size from r/abrathatfits. Magic stuff, guys. Took me a few years to accumulate a collection because my size (34GG) requires $40-$60 a bra.

I also adamantly hate VS because their sizing method uses a business tactic that fits the largest amount of people in the smallest number of sizes. Some people can fit into their bras, but most people won’t, at least with the size they give you.

VS also does a weird way of measuring where they measure your band size in your armpit. But like....that’s not where my band goes????? So they tried to tell me I was a 38 instead of a 34, which is what I got measuring myself with the tape under boobs, where everywhere else puts it.

Yes, I noticed the same thing, ski. The tape would go in almost the same place each time, but just a little different. Personally, I believe that they don't have that much experience with those that actually have boobs that are not all "perky" and stand straight out. 😆

I feel like this is a good idea for an automated mall kiosk (preferably located outside VS locations) where you can like swipe your card, $5 and 2 minutes later, you get your true size.

I get most of my bras at the Nordstrom rack lol. They have great bras in diverse sizing for very reasonable prices. highly recommend

the number of people who are truly 34C's is astonishingly small but most women are in incorrectly fitting bras that the "main" brands have +4ed them into

this also had no true relevance to anything but is a pet peeve of mine, pls ignore (unless anyone wants resources to explore this) lol

Nordstrom rack definitely has 30DDs. so do local lingerie stores.

Of course this probably doesn't help if you live in the boonies or something lol
