Waitlisted In California

Hello Everyone,

I've been all over this network and I've been trying to find out where most people are with regards to their status on California Schools. So I am attempting to create this thread in order to find out how many people have been accepted or waitlisted at these schools.

In any case here is my situation:

Applied to: All California Schools
Got Secondary from: Loma Linda, Drew/UCLA, UCSD, UC Davis, USC
Got Interview for: Drew/UCLA, UCSD, UC Davis, USC
Got Waitlisted at: Drew/UCLA, UCSD, UC Davis
Am waiting to hear from: USC

Have you accepted davis or are you waiting for the waitlist?

i'm planning on going to davis right now. i figure stanford is a long shot in the dark, and i'm interested in prime-lc at uci but it may be too late for that. i'll know more after may 15. i was posting about what i had heard about their waitlist in case anyone else needed that info.

Possible but I'm not sure how likely. From what I've read most of the movement occurs from May 15th to the end of June and then the chances after that are slim to none. Don't mean to be a downer 🙁 just being realistic 😳 .

I was think about posting a picture of the BBQ chips, but didn't 🙁 ... Camstah, What I meant was that I changed to the other ones after he told me to stop dancing. That was a few months ago. Now, Calvin feels like dancing again.

On a serious note:
The following is a list of people accepted off of the waitlists (unless listed otherwise) into UCI from SDN. It shows dates of listed accept, username, and post id# (so you can look up their post if you want to😀). It seems that in 2002, most acceptances to UCI came before July. However, that can not be said for UCI in 2003.

At one of my old jobs, one of my main tasks was always looking up things on the internet for the "real" engineers... Data sheets / specs / whatnot... Guess I really never broke the habit.

I currently do research using mainly statistical methods and I would be interested in finding out if any of the UC schools post the date and amount of people who were on and accepted off the waitlist. That way I could find out if there was a statistically significant difference in the months that people are chosen and the proportion of people taken off the waitlist.

Not quite what you're looking for I know. But it's something. I think it came from the UCD website.
