Waitlisted individuals on Predents

Ok i am confused here..people who are already waitlisted at some schools..i do not see they had interviews..is that because they had previous applications from previous years?

I could be wrong, but I have seen on other threads where applicants have received letters/emails saying that their application would be held onto and reviewed again at a later time. I take this to mean that they will not be receiving an interview now, but could possibly get one after all things shake out. I guess that could be considered waitlisted. I'm not sure if it's anything formal though. If I am wrong, someone please feel free to correct me

That's not waitlisted though. Waitlisted is when you've done an interview and the dental school puts you in a line to be accepted depending on how many people decline acceptance letters.

That is what I was trying to get across. At this point no one should be waitlisted due to the fact that schools have not sent out acceptances yet. I was just commenting on the logic of the people that said that they have been waitlisted
