Waitlisted Vs. Review In progress

I don't know if this is even comparable, but does anyone know if it is better to get waitlisted or just have no status change on AADSAS? Since I can't concentrate on anything else, even with final next weeks, just thought i'd ask. Thanks

I rather be wait listed than review in progress. I feel most schools have contacted the interviewees by Dec 1st. Last year when applying, I had a few pre-dec interviews and didnt here anything until late Dec to late April.

Being wait listed means that you were competitive, but not for the 1st round of acceptances. Many of the first rounders have very good stats (high gpa, high DAT score).

Thats what i'm trying to figure out. I would make the assumption that since I was not rejected or waitlisted, my application just hasn't been considered yet and I have a better chance than those who were waitlisted and deemed "alternatives" if you will. I could be completely wrong and may have no chance. I guess we will have to wait and see...🙁
