I've been waitlisted at three schools, does anyone know what I'm supposed to do now?? Do I write a letter of intent and if so what do you say??? HELP!!
First, do an SDN search on letters of intent, letters of interest, and waitlists. You can find out alot of information that way.
With three schools, you'll need to know which is your first choice, whether or not submitting a letter is helpful (for some, where you've received an unmovable score, it's not) and then if you'd be benefitted by sending additional info...(new LORs, updated transcripts).
You can always call the school and ask what would be best.
1. I think some schools just like to mess with your mind!!!
2. They like to feel important
3. they want to see you beg
4. they like to have a "just in case all hell breaks loose and we won't have any people to fill our spots" list which is virtually unlikely.
