Waiving recommendations

How do OT admission committee's look at LOR that aren't waived? Will it negatively effect me if I choose not to waive my recommendations?
 
The LORs are seen as more honest if you waive your right.

I would think that an admissions committee would not be able to discriminate against students who decided that they wanted to see their letters of recommendation/did not waive the right to see the letters. Even though I waived the right to see the letters, all 3 of my LOR writers sent me a copy of the letter anyways to make sure it was what I was looking for. I didn't get to see the supplemental forms they had to fill out, but I guess I trusted them enough to rate me well so I wasn't too worried about it.
