Hi, guys.

I just got the secondary invites from Wake forest U, and I am kind of confused about how i managed to make the first cut. As u can tell from my mdapplicant.com, i have MCAT verbal score of 7(and i took it 3times!), and i heard the initial cut for each section is 9 or something. Now I am not sure whether i should submit my secondaries for WF or not, cause I am not even sure if it's even worth it.

thanks for your input and good luck ya all

Wake Forest screens holistically, section minimums are a myth. I'd throw your hat in since they seem to feel that you can make the cut.

Does anyone know how long it takes them to make a decision on the secondary? I had my AMCAS in back in August and was on hold for the Aug MCAT scores which came out 9/12. I haven't heard anything from them about the secondary yet, should I call them?

I would wait another week or more. they send out apps in batches
(and rejections). I called them today( about up dates) and they said they are slammed with apps.. They are good are letting you know on their status page it give dates and time they are good sticking in their guidlines. patience is the best... it is going to be long haul until may good luck🙂

Ditto. I have a friend (MSII) at Wake who told me that they are extremely random in their application screenings/acceptances. To the OP: you should definitely submit this secondary (despite your low VR score).

The e-mail they sent me to check their status page doesn't ever work for me. Does anyone have a better link tothe status page?

It's here. You can get to it from the MD admissions site, click on application process, then on application status.
