I wasn't planning on moving so far from home for my medical school education (I'm from WA), but after interviews, Wake was my number one choice. Wake has a curriculum that uses problem based learning as well as giving first and second years patient contact. The gross anatomy unit is integrated and refered to as Human Structure and Development. The curriculum has just undergone a massive revamp (my class being the test class), and they'll continue to work out the bugs. Wake is also very technology focused. The computers that they issued us during orientation week are a key part of our learning process. While it is difficult to be so far from friends and family, I am definately happy with my choice to attend Wake. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me.
