When I first joined Walgreens several years back, I agreed with what many pharmacists said that its computer system was very nice to use (at least compared to Savon's which always crashed when the store was at its most busy moments). However, it seems that IC3+ is getting worse with each version update. Now, the system pretty much crashes at least once a day, and it's very frustrating when I am the only person working in the pharmacy trying to help the out window, drive-thru, and the ringing phones. I remembered once I was helping a customer and the system crashed, I had to tell her, "Sorry our computer just crashed, I hope you are not surprised."

Am I the only person who has noticed that IC3 crashes a lot more than before? I thought upgrade means improvement, but the system just appears cheaper with each newer version.

Yea I've noticed that too, you are not alone. Almost everyday I get a "crash window" while I'm in the work queue and so forth. Most of the time it just closes my open windows and puts me back at the TeamRx screen, but last week we had a complete crash and were in Central Mode for almost an hour. Not sure what's up but it is getting annoying.

I'm at least happy that after almost 2 years, IC+ will not CommError/Delete script when you enter a compound for less than a 24 hour pickup time. That mess was beyond frustrating.

IC3 = need people at the front of the store at the register

IC+ = pharmacy software

When a computer crashes while there is a line of customers staring at me, don't you think I need someone to take care of them while I try to reboot the damn thing?

Better get on that then.

It doesn't help that I read over the fact they were going to use my middle initial on my license application because that's what I had on my tech license application 5 years ago, despite the fact I included my full middle name on both my intern and RPh applications. When I show up to the test center I'm denied access because my license and SS card both have my full middle name, not just the initial. Took 2 weeks and a mailed copy of both DL and SS card to get it straightened out. Most of my classmates are now licensed, but I'm now waiting on CPJE scores.🙁
