Just got my raise at Walgreens, which they snuck in and failed to mention to anyone. 50 cents. Seriously? What gives. You are actually getting a salary decrease when your pay increase is lower than inflation. And no bonuses as a staff RPH?

Here's where your bonus went: dividends to shareholders (and mostly to senior management). I think it is 3% dividends now (2x as much as CVS)

Assuming you are making $55 a hour, you just got a 0.9% raise!

I don't think this is a surprise. Lower pay and 30 hours a week for new grads. Small or no pay increase for veterans.

Did you accept the Restricted Stock Unit grant in your Fidelity account? I think that's part of our compensation/bonus now.

Be glad you got anything. Your lucky the pay scale wasn't adjusted and you ended up with a cut in pay.

Kroger in 2012 did that very thing. They readjusted their volume based pay pay scale and moved 20 stores into a lower tier. This in effect was a $3000 a year pay cut for the pharmacists in those stores.

Yea you could have worked for the government and received a 0% raise the last 3 years...

Well if you do the math that is an extra 1000 dollars per year. With this economy I guess that's not too too bad

2013 inflation rate is 1.5%. So if you were making $60/hr, you needed a $0.8/hr raise to offset that.

If you were working for the government and didn't get a raise for 3 years, that effectively a 5% pay cut.
