If you were just to read the majority of the pharmacy forum thread you would swear that Larry Merlo is Satan and CVS is Hell.
I have a serious question for all of you who have been bashing CVS- are you implying that you get 30 minute uninterrupted breaks at Walgreens? Are you saying Walgreens has great tech hour coverage? Are you saying Walgreens, Walmart, and Rite Aid don'r have metrics??? I can think of something that may help you. You should get some adult coloring books. Instead of ranting, raving and trolling forums with complete silliness you can color some pictures. I think it may help you relax. They are starting to use them with people that have some ah, problems. Working a lot of hours for free, even as a front end manager, can be very stressful and take a toll. Maybe you can post some pictures when they are finished. When you calm done and get a grip on things come back and talk to us.

No my account wasn't hacked- I am speaking the truth- been with the company for 8 years- I was PIC at one of the busiest stores in the region. Sadly, I don't think the company staffs the stores with the help it needs. When I took over as PIC I had 405 tech hours- those 420 techs hours dwindled to 350 tech hours and keep in mind with more volume and more task. CVS wants to operate like McDonalds that's all fine and dandy, but at least McDonald's is adequately staffed and speaking of McDonald's the pay rate of an entry level certified tech and a person working at McDonald's is not that different.
I tried all I could to make this marriage work and realized it was a losing battle- I felt that I needed a 10 foot rope to climb the mountain and CVS was only giving me an 8 ft rope. Honestly, I really feel bad for the techs- they don't make the income as a Pharmacist and the techs are the ones who are doing the majority of the work and I just don't think they are appreciated.
It's really sad because their are great techs and pharmacist who are employed by the company, but things could be a lot better. By the way, I am talking about simple things could be iproved, but for the sake of me I don't know why CVS continues to follow status quo.

I was one of the biggest supporters of CVS- but my marriage ended with the company recently- and I most say I am in a better far less stressful place. As much as I did for the company I don't feel the appreciation was mutual- nuff said.

This leads me to believe RxNupe got a job offer at a pharmacy that was actually good and he couldn't hack it.

Thus, he realized that he is a low energy Pleb pharmacist/manager, and that CVS is the best he'll ever do.

I have received numerous accolades/recognition and awards. I have won P.I.C of the year in my district 5 times in 10 years-counted 5 times!!!! Yeah they really don't care about me right? Do you think CVS care about you? If you are gone tomorrow, they will do just fine. You are not bringing any value to them and you are certainly not bringing value to your own life when you work for CVS.

Everyone should calm down and look outside the box. I think we should have a more balanced approach. If you let your chain push you too hard, you'll end up killing someone either intentionally or unintentionally. There's a big difference when you verify 100 Rx/day vs 50 Rx/day. Now, that doesn't mean you would aim for lower 50 Rx/day because that shows you're unproductive. The best approach would be half way..75 Rx/day....Both will profit.

I also got promised EL and a raise after I gave my 2 weeks notice.

So, you left your job but now you didn't leave your job. You were pic of the district 5 years out of 10 but you said you were with them 7 years? Why did you not win all 10 years? You were invited to the EL program but you graduated from that to working the bench? A lot of veterans come back from war with PTSD. Are you having flashbacks. Nothing embarrassing about it.
