Walgreens to close 200 stores

This, every big retailer closes stores, but healthy retailers also open and/or relocate stores. Is Walgreens opening stores to offset the ones closing?

They are rebranding the whole community pharmacy idea. Instead of having clinics with NPs they are bringing in MDs/DOs inside the store. Or thats what I have heard. Then again its just putting tape on the big hole, not a solution to the saturation problem. Maybe they should use their brains to see how to get reimbursed from insurance and medicaid.

They're protesting the closing of a Walgreens that sits about 1500 feet away from a Jewel-Osco. Clown world. This protest is rivaled in uselessness by CPJE applicants to protest at the California State Capitol and change.org petitions.

People only value distance (convenience) and speed.

Walgreens doesn't want that "business" anyway. They don't give 2 ****s about losing Medicaid rx
