Compiling my list of schools now and was just wanting some additional thoughts/feedback. Submitted my primary already with just one school, as I'm waiting on a paycheck to add the rest.

3.81 sGPA
3.77 cGPA
Microbiology major
30 MCAT (11 PS, 9 VR, 10 BS)
Not URM

ECs:
-Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Spanish tutor
-Can kind of speak Spanish (passed STAMP test slightly above intermediate)
-Vice President of a Fraternity (so maybe 50 hours of community service through this)
-Honors Thesis project (2 years of research), will be present this upcoming fall
-TA for introductory microbiology this upcoming fall
-Student Assistant for anatomy lab this upcoming fall
-40 hours of volunteering at local emergency room
-50 hours of shadowing (ER, Anesthesiology, and Family Med)
-Going to be a camp counselor this summer, 1 week camp for kids with muscular dystrophy

I know a couple of these won't be until next semester, so I wasn't able to submit them along with my primary, but will hopefully have a chance to talk about them on secondaries/interviews.

I'm a Washington resident, so my number one choice is the University of Washington. However, if that doesn't turn out, I'd be willing to go to an MD school anywhere. But, if MD doesn't work out, I would prefer to go to a DO school somewhere on the west coast (family here, and I like it). I'm not too worried about the difference between an MD and a DO. I feel like I'll enjoy the curriculum either way, do my best, and get the specialty I want in the end. I'd rather worry about just getting into a school first.

That being said, here's my list of MD schools (in somewhat of a preferential order):
-UW
-U of Arizona
-U of Miami
-USC (long shot, I know. California is beautiful and would love to be there.)
-Albany
-NY Medical College
-Medical College of Wisconsin
-Creighton
-Tulane
-Drexel
-Rush
-Temple
-Jefferson
-George Washington

DO schools (just chose these cause they're on the west coast):
-Pacific Northwest University (10 minutes from my home town of 18 years, top choice if DO)
-Touro, CA
-Western University, OR
-Western University, CA

Like I said, really hope I get into UW, but if not, would move anywhere for MD, but would prefer to stay on west coast if DO.

That being said, does anyone have any other schools they would suggest (either MD or DO)? Also, what are my chances at the MD schools I listed?

Thanks for the feedback

Bumping this for the sake of not having to make a new post, but does anyone have any input on Touro and Western in California? Do they accept OOS? I'd really like to stay on the west coast, family and friends in California, I'm from Washington though. Would I have a chance at those two in Cali? I should I just save my money?

@Goro ?

You are fine for both Western and Touro. They both take OOS.
