Hey guys! I was just wondering if you could help me with a school list. I have already applied to all TMDSAS MD schools and was hoping for input on what AMCAS schools I should apply to.

Here are my stats and ECs:
  • cGPA: 3.98
  • sGPA: 4.00
  • MCAT: 515 (CP 130, CARS 127, BB 131, PS 127)
  • TX resident, Black, female
  • LOR: 2 science profs (1 research PI), 1 non-science prof
  • Research: 3000h with 1 publication
  • Clinical Volunteer: Hospice + Hospital: 350h
  • Nonclinical Volunteer: Food Pantry + Domestic Violence Survivor Shelter: 140h
  • Leadership: Started 2 clubs on campus: 100h
  • Shadowing: Cardiologist/Radiologist/Gen Surg: 90h
Here is my current list (I think it is really top heavy but I can apply to 20 schools so I wanted to just try ):
Baylor
Dartmouth
Georgetown
Pitt
Emory
Case
Mayo

I would love to hear from @Faha and @Goro but truly appreciate any and all feedback! Thank you!!

Which medical schools outside Texas have you visited? Connected with any diversity student affairs officers? SNMA chapter officers?
I actually have not visited any of them. I was an international student for a long time and did not think I would be applying to med school but then I got my green card so I thought to try and apply
