Hi everyone,

I've applied to some MD programs, most complete in September with a few still going on early October. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on any adding schools that I could still have a shot at when applying to at this point in the cycle, assuming I get the secondaries turned around very quickly. I've heard that some schools may have slower cycles, and maybe those might still be viable. My absolute goal is really to go to any MD school, but I plan on applying to some more DO schools after I finish my last few MD secondaries. Any recommendations or insight would be greatly appreciated. Here are my stats:

ORM - Florida Resident
3.4 cGPA, 3.39 sGPA. Top 10 public school. Big upward trend after freshman and sophomore year (2.8 GPA), death in immediate family.
518 MCAT (128 C/P, 128 CARS, 132 Bio, 130 Psych). Taken in 2019 so this is my last chance to apply for many schools without needing a retake.
1500+ hours as medical assistant
700+ hours research hours - 1 publication
150+ hours scribe
100 clinical volunteering hours
100+ non-clinical volunteering hours. (Since primary submission, I've added about 50+ more in an ongoing activity.)
150+ shadowing hours
Leadership position in a club for a year
Great letters of rec.

Schools I've applied to:

FSU
USF
UCF
FIU
FAU
UF
NYMC
Wright State
Drexel
Tufts
Vermont
Virginia Commonwealth
Geisinger
Einstein
Hofstra
Seton Hall
Thomas Jefferson
Rochester
Wayne State

I appreciate everyone's time and advice. Hope everyone's having a great cycle.
