I'm alive at one DO school at the moment but other than that I'm preparing for my reapplication. I've added many more activities since last time. I did also have 4 interviews this cycle if that matters.

Stats:

GPA: 4.0 (may drop slightly this semester)/MCAT: 519

Activities

Shadowing - 225 hours (half days at clinics during 2017 and 2018 summer breaks)

Clinical Volunteering - 175 hours (after shadowing in 2018 I took a more active role in same clinic unofficially by doing patient charts, taking the patients' vitals, and asking the patient initial health questions(e.g. whats hurting you today? so i believe that's clinical volunteering) (June 2018 -August 2018)

Summer 2019 Hospital Transport Services - 190 hours (June 2019 - August 2019)

COVID Contact Tracing - 50 hours (August 2020 - December 2020 looking to continue but spot isn't guaranteed yet, will be 100 hours total projected if I continue)
(ik its debatable but one feedback sender did say it would count as clinical)
Nonclinical Volunteering

Medical Student Association - 100 hours volunteering at food bank/homeless shelter like settings + meetings (January 2018 - present) (Currently making plans on how to function during COVID)

A mentoring children club (teaching kids how to read) - 95 hours (August 2017 - present)

Research

Speech Lab - 750 hours (August 2018 - present). Worked on data analysis. currently beginning my first project in the lab. Biology research credit earned if that matters.

Leadership/Volunteering

PR leader for a medical fundraising club - (August 2020-present) - 120 hours

Hobbies

Intramural Sports - 20 hours (Fall 2018)

Played unofficial soccer frequently
