MD WAMC/Building School List (CA ORM 3.95/511)

Hello! I just got back my MCAT score this morning and would really like some advice on what schools to apply to

1. 3.95 (cGPA) and 3.92 (sGPA) - graduated December 2023
2. MCAT - 511 (130/124/128/129) I'm a bit worried about the low CARS and am afraid of schools possibly screening my app out bc of it
3. CA resident and US citizen
4. Asian/Chinese female
5. T20 school - UC
6. Clinical experience:

• 180 hours of patient transport at hospital
• ~20-30 hours hospice care volunteer by the time of app

7. Research: 900 hours in a dry lab in the toxicology field, no pubs, 1 poster presentation
8. Shadowing: 50 total hours

• 18 hours dermatology
• 23 hours urology
• 9 hours gynecology

9. Non clinical volunteering:

• 250 hours Crisis Text Line
• 40 hours School on Wheels tutoring
• ~30 hours volunteering at a homeless shelter mainly helping out at the food pantry

10. I am taking a gap year and am planning on getting a clinical job in the summer to get more clinical hours for update letters
11. No honors/awards other than Dean's list and Latin honors (not sure if I should include that in my app or if that's already implied by the GPA)
12. For hobbies, I play the piano and violin

I haven't made a solid list of schools to apply to yet, but am definitely looking at applying to the UCs and OOS friendly schools. If I could have some advice on this, I would greatly appreciate it!
