I am enrolled in a pre-req I am considering dropping for a school I applied to this cycle.
I was denied from my IS (UF) as well as OOS for CSU. I am waiting to hear back from UT on OOS interview invites and am currently enrolled in a pre-req I only need for them (course to fulfill cell bio pre-req). I am considering dropping this course after hearing others reviews on it, and considering my presumed low chances at an interview, Only hesitation I have is that UT would not allow me to take it in the Summer if I am by chance offered an interview/seat, therefore forfeiting my spot. What are my suspected chances of getting an interview at this point? Would you drop the course and take something else as a GPA booster?
Overall VMCAS GPA: 3.57
Last 45 GPA: ~3.4
Science GPA: ~3.6/3.7
Experience at time of application:
- 800/900 hours assisting at an Urgent Care
- 400/500 hours teching in shelter med
- 200/300 hours volunteering in shelter med
- 100/200 hours research
- club participation
- club sports
- TA
- student ambassador
