Hello people of SDN, hope everyone is well! I'm looking for help with curating my school list for this medical school application cycle. Here’s my snapshot:

cGPA: 3.93, sGPA: 3.91
MCAT score: 520 (130/128/131/131)
Biology Major
California Resident
Asian
T100? Undergrad
2 GAP YEARS

Clinical: 1500 hours
  • 1100 hours medical scribe (ENT and facial plastics)
  • 400 hours hospital volunteer (restocking on inpatient wards and talking with patients)

Research: 1200 hours
  • Clinical research: 3 clinical trials and data entry for a multidisciplinary project (but no pubs/posters/conferences)

Shadowing: 60 hours
  • 20 hrs Anesthesiology
  • 24 hrs ENT
  • 16 hrs FPRS

Non-clinical volunteering: 180 hours
  • 80 hours food bank (packaging/assembling meals and distribution)
  • 100 hours community garden (planting, growing, harvesting, and donating harvest to the community food bank)
Anything else?
Hobbies:
  • Gardening
  • Astrophotography
Awards:
  • University Honors, Dean’s List

Understand that my non-clinical hours are unfortunately on the lower side. Would have loved to continue the garden stint, but couldn't fit it into my schedule. Anyways, would greatly appreciate help on creating a more balanced school list!

Is your graduation imminent? Could I ask why you "gave up gardening"? Does this mean it's not a hobby now?
Sorry, meant the community garden volunteering. I still keep up with it as a hobby for sure. Also, I realized I somehow left out my gap years in the original post; now updated.
