APPLYING TO DO SCHOOLS ONLY
cGPA = 3.37 sGPA = 3.28 (with a upward trend in my Junior year of 3.75 for sGPA and cGPa both)
MCAT score : 505 (126 C/P, 124 CARS, 127 B/B, 128 P/S)
Race = Pakistani American
Undergrad = Loyola University in Chicago and Washington U in St. Louis
Have clinical experience , Have research and interest in becoming published, Have shadowing experience, Have non clinical experience
Extracurriculars:
Intramural basketball school champions, captain of basketball team, went to Army last summer and had humble experiences, Im really passionate about healthcare and helping others
Awards = Im sure everyone else has this but ..Awards = Deans List both semesters of Junior year. This was remarkable to me because I came back from the Army and knew I wanted to medicine more than anything else, so I started my Junior year with this purpose and I got 3.75 both semesters.
I have a solid purpose why I want to help people and am really passionate about it. I made sure to describe this in my personal statement, but I fear my stats might not be high enough for DO schools.
Please help me (i am in my senior year now) and I hope to go to a DO school next fall 🙂
