Hi! Recently received my MCAT score and it was lower than expected so it has turned my life upside down.
I have my PS almost ready to go but I just haven't gotten myself to write the activities which I have around 15. I am struggling with a school list because the one I had just doesn't make sense with my score (listing the updated list with schools that might work with my score). Planning on only applying MD. This was very unexpected so it has been hard coming to terms with taking an additional gap year. Do you think it might be already be late for me to apply given my app is not ready? Should I stick it out and finish my app and apply?

Please help! Any advice is appreciated!

Not an expert by any means, but I know a couple of Latinos who are Florida residents that applied last cycle with similar stats as you. They all were able to get MD acceptances either in Florida or elsewhere. You should be in solid shape for a good amount of the Florida schools and at a lot of the OOS schools that Faha listed. Your EC profile is excellent and I think you’ll get good success this cycle if you submit your materials ASAP. Good luck and don’t stress too much!

Do you have any nonclinical volunteering in the US?
Depending on your answer, eliminate Rush and Loyola and any other service oriented schools. Rush expects and gets hundreds if not thousands of service hours.
What Latino group do you represent? I assume you are fluent in Spanish. If so, stress that in your application.
