I am a pre-vet med student. Starting class on Jan 9 at Arizona State University for their online pre-vet med program. I am an LVT in Michigan, and I am a co-owner of a low cost GP veterinary practice. My question is, if I have the required GPA, as well has being an LVT and practice owner, how likely is my vet school application to stand out? Should I be doing more? Thank you!

Animal related experience:
Total 8.5 years- 17,000 hours
7 years ER medicine- 14,000 hours
1.5 years practice owner GP- 3,120 hours
Have small animal and large animal experience (personal animals) for 18 years

Concerns
That I need to be doing more.

I wouldn’t say you need more experience. You need to probably list your hobbies, recreational activities, research and any volunteer work you did to make a well rounded application. It’s hard to say if your application would stand out because of no provided gpa or any other knowledge.

Additionally, being a LVT won’t be a stand out as many applicants are LVT already as well. Practice owner is a bit different so you might get questions of why vet school? What would vet school accomplish that you don’t already have?
