I would definitely look into a post-bacc or even an SMP honestly. That sGPA and BCP GPA is going to be screened out. Try to get as close to a 4.0 moving forward. DAT is good though.

So, would you say there is no chance this cycle or do I have a small chance at some?

Depends on if the schools have a GPA cutoff or not. If they don’t, I would say you might have a small chance at some of the more expensive privates.

what are your last 2 years gpa like?

2.96 and 3.18
your chances at publics are essentially zero
most of the privates will not likely give you a chance either

you will likely have to take an SMP and get a 4.0 or close to have a chance at getting in

sorry if this is harsh, but you need to show you can handle an intense, science heavy curriculum with the added dental skills training on top of that

I totally understand is there a place where good SMP's and post bacs can be found?

don't do a postbacc
those grades are considered undergraduate
masters makes it a separate graduate gpa

Your undergrad GPA warrants an SMP.

Do a Google search on predental postbac programs. There are a number of them that pop up all the time: BU, Rutgers, Marquette, UTSA?.... others are more interprofessional but tout success (Barry, SFSU, CSUEB, Western, CWRU...).

You said it warrants a special master's then sent post bacs. Which one are you suggesting?
