WAMC: Non-trad with 3.38cGPA and 3.1-3.2 sGPA/510 MCAT URM PLEASE HELP

I am not sure if I am competitive enough to apply. Can someone help with a school list? Can someone let me know where I stand with my GPA and awkward MCAT score breakdown? Recommendations toward an SMP?

CC freshman/sophomore graduated with 3.577
Junior year university 2.6
Senior 3.0
Fifth year 2.9
Post bac biochem and organic lab 4.0

I agree with Faha and Goro. It helps that you took some classes as a post bac and did well in them. Your MCAT score is also good and the breakdown is not a concern.

Yes, GPA-MCAT grid (for URM) shows you have a ~90% chance for a MD acceptance.

It has not been updated since 2015. The odds are better for 2024 since there will be 2,500 more 1st year MD positions available since 2015.

I applied with similar stats as a nontrad URM (more credits in my postbac, also 4.0) and have 7 acceptances. I did have a strong story, lots of life experience, and a clear answer to “why medicine”. Make sure your writing is excellent and you submit early - I submitted everything as early as possible, and was in the first round of interviews for many of the schools I interviewed at.
