  • GPAs (this needs some explanation)
    • Graduated undergrad in 2011, started a PB in 2012, left the country in 2013, started DIY PB in March 2020
    • uGPA 3.51, sGPA 3.58
      • 3.10, 3.55, 3.15, 3.75 - looks like a camel but the 3.15 was after a close family member passed away
      • pb: 3.64. Can never get above a B in Physics, no matter how hard I try. It was a 3.4ish in 2013 when I stopped taking post-bacc classes. 4.0 thus far this year (16 credits, including OChem 1&2)
  • MCAT score(s) and breakdown: 506 (125/128/125/128) - not the best, but I'm proud of it!
  • State of residence: AZ (but grew up in NJ)
  • Ethnicity and/or race: White female
  • Undergraduate institution or category: T25
  • Clinical experience - 2200+ hours
    • Peace Corps - worked in Clinic doing antenatal care (MME)
    • Abortion Doula
    • Birth Doula

  • Other extracurricular activities
    • Extensive teaching experience - 3600+ hours
    • Lots of leadership experience (MME on app)
    • Extensive work history - 7000+ hours
  • Relevant honors or awards
    • Grad school scholarship
    • Honors program in undergrad
  • Anything else not listed you think might be important
    • MPH from an T5 school/Ivy. I know it's not "rigorous enough" but yeah - worked my butt off. Finished my last semester working full time and doing school full time.
    • Worked 20hrs a week all throughout undergrad.
    • Experience working with diverse groups across volunteering and internships - justice-involved population, young low-SES people, etc.
    • Part of the LGBT+ community (and it shows in my app)
    • Used the "Hobby" category to talk about my love of running and how it developed in adulthood (MME)
    • Currently working in a public health department on COVID response (*not* contact tracing).
    • Strong LORs from Professors, Peace Corps Country Director, AmeriCorps VISTA Supervisor, and Practicum Supervisor.
    • My entire application (Personal Statement, activity descriptions, etc) is centered around my love of service.

School list thus far:
  • UA - Phoenix
  • UA - Tucson
  • Kaiser
  • Creighton
  • USU
  • Tulane
Edited to add a question: Are there any MD schools I should add in the next day or 2? I have the ability to crank out secondaries pretty quickly.

Some mid-tiers might bite on you, too - especially the ones that love service. Rush comes to mind; @Goro might have more information here. Your stats are very much mediocre, but your ECs are spectacular. Apply to a bunch of low and mid-tier MD schools.
