Hi all!
2 years ago I made this post:

Based on the advice I received, I decided to forego applying and work for a year in Public Health Consulting for the CDC.

I then enrolled in the GUSOM SMP as I firmly decided that medicine was the route I wanted to take. Since then I worked a bit as a remote scribe (not much tho bc COVID), continued volunteering (non-clinical) and have a 3.87 in my SMP half way through. I applied only to my SMP institution and my state school this cycle.

Assuming I stay around my 3.87 and I dont get in this cycle, WAMC if I apply next cycle and what are some schools i should target that reward reinvention?

From my post 2 years ago:
ORM
515 MCAT
3.2 cGPA, 3.2 sGPA.
Good amount of research (~400 hours)
Volunteering hours (~200 in hospital, 400 in hospice care)
Shadowed on-site physician for medically fragile campers one summer
Shadowed in ICU for a semester

Also side note but my MCAT is from Jan 2018 and I don't know what's the standard that schools use for oldest allowed MCAT but I'm hoping I don't have to retake 😬

Thank you and I appreciate any insight!
