Hello, I was wondering what my chances are at TX MD schools with my MCAT score. I appreciate everyone's guidance and feedback.
  • MCAT: 510 (low B/B score) --> avg on FL: 514
  • cGPA: 3.96, sGPA: 3.94
  • 1000+ research hours and 2 conference presentations (1 international, 1 on campus)
  • 1200+ clinical hours (MA, hospital volunteering)
  • 3 leadership positions
  • TX resident; ORM
  • 200+ shadowing hours
  • 250+ nonclinical hours
I was wondering which schools I have a shot at in Texas. Would I have a shot at UTMB, McGovern, A&M, or would I be limited to DO schools? Is it advisable to retake the MCAT to aim for a higher score? I was scoring 515+ on latest FLs. Are there any OOS schools that you recommend applying to?

Thank you in advance!
