Hi, planning to apply in May, just wanted final look at school list and activities to see if I'm missing anything
  1. cGPA and sGPA: 3.98 / 3.98
  2. MCAT: 520 (130/128/130/132)
  3. State of residence or country of citizenship (if non-US): NJ
  4. Ethnicity and/or race: Asian
  5. Undergraduate institution or category: T50 State Public
  6. Clinical experience (paid):
      - Patient Care Technician (~1200 hrs)
      - Emergency Department Scribe (~1000 hrs)
  7. Research experience and productivity: Biophysics research (~1500 hrs)
      - No publications - new lab where I developed code base and initial assays for experiments
  8. Shadowing experience and specialties represented:
      - Orthopaedic Surgery (~40 hours), Cardiology (~20 hours)
  9. Non-clinical volunteering:
      - Volunteer at soup kitchen (~175 hrs)
  10. Other extracurricular activities:
    1. Peer tutor for Biochemistry and Physics - ~200 hours (I was in charge of study groups and recitations)
    2. Fencing Club (Senior year)
  11. Letters: 5 (2 professors I tutored for, 1 from PI, 1 from humanities professor, 1 from senior science class)
  12. Gap Year: Probably going to get full-time clinical work during gap year

If you plan to apply to brand-name schools as a high-metrics applicant, you should have 250 hours of service orientation activities (75 more soup kitchen hours) before you submit your application to keep pace with your peers and be viable for interviews.
