Hello hello I am getting ready to submit my primary application soon and am trying to finalize my school list, would love some help on finalizing my school list 😄
Here's my profile for reference:
WA State Resident
1. GPA: 3.73
2. MCAT: 518
3. WA Resident
4. Asian Male
5. Top Uni in Canada
6. 450 hrs clinical volunteer, 400 in one hospital and 50 in another
7. 400 hrs research, received national award to conduct research and presented at a conference + volunteering in a breast cancer lab (50 ish hours only)
8. 40 hrs shadowing GI doctor
9. 650 hrs nonclinical volunteer, helped start and teach at an international camp for underprivileged children, intern at the Jane Goodall Institute to help Indigenous Canadian and African populations, worked long-term with family that experienced death
10. 50 hrs paid nonclinical, worked with children in an exercise camp
11. 300 hrs leadership, senior executive for Taekwondo club and vice president of rock climbing club at my uni
12. 4 LORs from a physician, two science professors, and one supervisor
Have a job lined up to start in July working as a medical assistant in a pediatric clinic
Not sure if I'm missing any good schools to apply to or if my school list straight up sucks, any advice is appreciated thank you!
