Your lack of non clinical volunteering will limit your chances at some top tier schools. Rush and Loyola expect far more non clinical volunteering hours than you have. I suggest these schools:
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
Commonwealth Geisinger
Pittsburgh
Hofstra
Einstein
Mount Sinai
Cornell
Rochester
SUNY Buffalo
Hackensack
Vermont
Tufts
George Washington
Georgetown
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
Duke
Wake Forest
USF Morsani
Miami
Cincinnati
Western Michigan
Northwestern

Non-clinical volunteering
  • 100 hrs odds and ends, mostly from when I was in a sorority for a few years
Reinforcing: this is not helpful to show service orientation in your application and puts your application at risk of getting screened out.

  • Social justice (50 hrs 20 anticipated) advocating in my community, ongoing. most hours during covid, active in community supporting doctors at count commission meetings for mask wearing.
I know the advocacy category is relatively new, but can you be more detailed about what you are doing? Where was this advocacy?

I participated in several marches for in support of reproductive rights, support of LGBTQ rights, and against gun violence.
I also was very active in my local community in FL during COVID where I spoke at county commission meetings with local doctors in support of mask wearing and public health precautions. I also volunteered at a drive thru covid testing center event where I worked to register people to vote. some of what I did could be considered volunteering but I counted it here instead.
