Please help me craft my school list for this cycle.

Shadowing Experience: 125 hrs total (75 OB-GYN, 16 Primary Care, 9 surgery, 25 EM)

Clinical Experience:
1200 hrs paid Medical Scribe at a high-acuity urgent care
150 hrs volunteer EMT with Red Cross (foreign country)

Non-clinical Volunteering:
150 hrs Food Bank
100 hrs in in-patient + ER (U.S. hospital)
20 hrs (projected 150hrs) in Postpartum Ward (different U.S. hospital)

Social Justice/Advocacy:
100 hrs - Met with local government and health centers to advocate for better culturally-sensitive medical care and better integration of Indigenous culture

Employment:
Had some financial difficulties my second half of college and I worked 6 part-time jobs. 4 of them were just for a work-study semester or summer, 2 were over multiple years.

OP: I'm guessing you are overvaluing your Fulbright and work outside the US, and that's why you are reaching above your weight class. We don't know what your Fulbright is about, and I presume you'll take your trip during the cycle. In other words, it's an anticipated activity.

Many medical schools understand their role in the social contract of their communities. They want medical students who are comfortable with the patients of limited means that are frequently using academic medical centers for their care. Find schools that have opportunities to serve outside the US or abroad, especially parts of the world where you have some familiarity (or stretch yourself if they don't).
