WAMC/School List

Your list is good. U Maryland favors their own state residents. You could add a few more schools such as :
Quinnipiac
Seton Hall
Drexel
George Washington
Georgetown
Mount Sinai

Agreed. You should get interviews, but be prepared to be cauterized on why PharmD to MD. Interviewers are going to be fixated on this

Quick question, do you think my application is too pharmacy-heavy and will be questioned? I had originally wanted to pursue a pharmacy residency after graduation but decided on medicine - I will have my reasons stated in my personal statement and will be prepared for interviews - but in terms of volunteering, I did a long volunteer gig in a local pharmacy with extensive patient education/counseling (the idea stemmed from a personal experience and frustration of mine). It's not sexy or "mind-blowing" like other experiences I've seen on this forum, but it was important to me and I think I made an impact on my local community. On the other hand, should I start gathering more volunteer hours from more prototypical activities e.g. ED volunteer, hospital volunteering, etc. so I don't raise any red flags?
Imho, the committee won’t care all that much, but they will probe you on it. Especially since it sounds like you won’t have any working experience as a PharmD. Just make sure you have a really good, authentic sounding explanation for the switch
