Definitely low gpa due to poor performance first two years. MCAT lower than I wanted, was aiming around 515-517, do I retake?
Could definitely use more shadowing.
Recently started as a coordinator, high chance of getting pub in the next year + shadowing attendings in hospital.
My experiences are pretty limited to ortho, but current position has me speaking w patients and physicians across the whole hospital and essentially pre-rounding for discussions w/ the attendings. I will be able to write about this pretty extensively for next cycle.
Maybe more clinical volunteering?
I'm sure my GPA was a big stickler, but I think my performance esp in science courses would be enough to compensate. Should I do a masters? Did not have and solid relationships w/ science professors so LORs were limited there.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You do not need to retake a MCAT of 513. You would benefit from 150+ hours of non clinical volunteering in activities such as food bank or homeless shelter.

I have to check data, but obviously as a Utah applicant, you might not be as desirable. If you have to re-apply, see if your in-state program/s can advise you on why your file wasn't selected. If they tell you to get a higher MCAT score, I would consider it.

I'm confused how you graduated "SCL" honors with your GPA... was it just at ASU?

I don't have a sense of your school list. Let's hope the WL's go in your favor.

Master degrees GPA’s are inflated to the point where 4.0 is commonplace and are not, appropriately, counted. Inflated to a point even worse than undergrad. If you are interested in one, fine. But don’t do it in the hopes that any grades will increase your chances.
