Have you received any interviews yet? When did you submit your secondaries?
I submitted august 22 towards end of August for all schools. Have yet to receive any interview, but I know with hurricane Irma FL schools are a little behind.

DO schools I applied last week

You should receive some interviews with the DO schools most likely.

Hi Faha,
What would I need to improve if I wanted to increase my chances at my state schools if i were to apply again next cycle?

Thanks

Have you received any interviews or wait list this cycle?
Yes interviewed at nova md and waitlisted. I was in the first interview group, in december. They are stating that they are accepting very few outright. They are waiting till they interview 350 students to accept the full amount. Class of 50 students for inaugural class.

In order to fill that class of 50 they will need to offer acceptances to 100 to 150 of those interviewed. Some of those who interview may withdraw in the meantime once they are accepted elsewhere. Did you receive any DO interviews?

Yes this is what they're saying. I interviewed at lecom Bradenton and I'm getting the decision in the mail next week. Fairly certain it's an acceptance but did not like the school as much as I liked nova md

Forgot to say it most likely will be free tuition at nova md, they just got a 25 million dollar gift to be used as scholarship money. So that will make it harder to give up acceptance.

Let us see what happens next week. If you are accepted to LECOM Bradenton you start your medical career in August.
