how did you come up with this list?
why not BU if you have tufts?

FWIW, I think Cal Northstate's dental school is open for business. They are a relatively new school, but they are in California.
while it may be attractive because it's in-state, OP has more appropriate, regionally correct schools to choose from rather than a new school that only does private loans...

I mainly looked at in-state schools and West Coast schools, and sought out schools that offer a strong clinical curriculum if I just wanted to pursue general dentistry. As for BU, I'm not sure why I never considered it.

your list has CA schools, which is understandable:

USC
UCLA
UCSF
Western U
UOP

then it has 3 privates/safeties that are across the country that you may experience yield management at:
Temple
Tufts
LECO
then 2 very expensive privates/safeties in arizona, and one cheaper 3 year private in utah
ASDOH
Midwestern AZ
Roseman

the ideal school has a few reaches, mostly in-range schools, and a couple safeties
IMO, you need to have some in-range schools...
