congrats on the huge improvement on DAT and the improvements on your application
your list should be fine, although i am curious why you mostly avoided the southeast?

Honestly, I have lived in Fl so long and I just want to venture. What are good schools to add for the South East?

honestly, you can apply to pretty much any school
as it is, your list is too long, and i would be surprised if you were lacking in interviews and feel like you need to add schools...

Hopefully being earlier in submitting this application (August 1 vs. September 30, 2024) will help you. The improved DAT should also boost your signal. When did you take the new DAT?

Here are the schools I would question:
1) Illinois, Colorado, Buffalo (region?)
2) Columbia, Penn (stats)

That would put your list at 11, which I think would be a bit more reasonable. @macsak any suggestions from you?

I took my new DAT 7/19, I have family in NY and an oral surgeon i work for has really good ties to UIC. Another Oral SurgeonI work for and his wife went to Columbia and have good ties (they wrote me a LOR individually and also talked to the dean about me at their 10 year’s reunion), Penn I feel is variable because they take higher stats but not that much higher. A prosthodontist I work for went their for dental schools and is submitting a letter directly to the school.

I really appreciate your feedback though! It helps a lot
