Want to go perio program

I graduated in 2012 and have been associated since then. Few yrs ago I joined implant practice and placed over 1000 implants and pretty comfortable with procedures, but always in my mind, I feel like I should go to perio.
Obviously, I can not get LOR from school anymore and I do not have any research experience from dental school.
In my situation, what would be the best option to get into perio programs?

Call programs and ask for info for applying in your situation.

Actually i dont know what something special u can do, u need to apply like everyone else and just put it in ur personal statement and email the directors.

Do you think there is a chance to get in w/o research experience and no LOR from school faculties?

You would at least need recommendations from periodontists to apply. Start calling perios in your area and ask to see if you can shadow.
