Any one hear back from UW, EWU, or UPS?

We must be applying to all the same schools! Are you from the PNW?? We should hear from EWU within the next two weeks if we got an interview , as for UPS we won't hear till March and around the same time with UW. This is my 3rd year applying so I kinda know how it works!! I am praying 3rd times a charm.. Good luck! 🙂

Hi all. I love reading people's comments and acceptances here on SDN. Same here this is my second year applying to OT schools, applied to 2 schools (didn't get in) last year versus 11 schools this year. Don't give up! I got into a school in Florida this year by the way, but would still like to know about my status with Universtiy of Puget Sound!

I got offered alternate list to all 3 schools the first time I applied. It's my second year applying. I've applied to more schools this year, got offered alternate list to those too.

Nope! I know that UPS and UW will notify late March/April. I spoke to EWU this morning and was informed that interview emails might be sent out this Friday or next Monday. There were 178 applications for about 30-ish seats.

If I recall right, last year they interviewed less than 100 applicants

Hi All, I am a current EWU OT student. I went through this whole process last year, I do not envy you one bit, it was hard! I am volunteering at the interview so I received an email today saying approximately 130 people will be interviewing. That is only about 30 more than last year and there were a lot more applicants this year. Not everyone received and interview invite, so while it doesn't mean you are in (yet), you are one step closer. Also heard that the average gpa is lower this year which may be good for anyone worrying about their gpa and other stats. If anyone is in Spokane and would like to talk about interview day or the program in general, let me know!

That course is available online through EWU. Online it can be as long or as short as you want. You could theoretically finish it in a matter of weeks.
