So all the info I can gather on the Wash. U. interviews has left me perplexed. They seem to be a mix between very low key, and somewhat stressful. Anyone here interview there recently? Or will be interviewing soon?

I hear as long as you're not an asshat, wash u doesn't care about anything but the numbers.

asshat seems to be a popular new phrase round here.

I claim credit for introducing it.
EDIT: to preallo at least

I like it. I am seriously considering adding it to my mental dictionary, right next to asswipe.

Can anyone back MWillie's claim? I'm not saying that I don't trust you, MWillie, but I like having a sample size larger than n=1.

Also, how long before the interview will I find out the name of who will be interviewing me?

Thanks, ya'll....wait, I'm not from Texas. I'm from Minnesota, so let me rephrase that: Thanks, eh.

Wash U is pretty low key from the Adcom but I found that the other interviewees were the most stressful part. They were all Harvard and Yale types and me the only 'small liberal arts' school. One girl was on her 13th interview. The most stressful part of the interview day was that they expect you to find your way around the whole hospital by yourself and its HUGE! and I have a terrible sense of direction. I made it though.

They also have a pizza dinner thing the night before which I reccomend. It was good to relax and talk with other applicants in a more casual way than interview day. I don't recomend the dorms to stay in though. Or at least be warned that the are dark and depressing with community bathrooms. I was kept up for hours with the AIM pinging noise.

Good luck!
