Someone needs to get the word out that last year most of the very selective schools did NOT go very far at all into their wiat lists regardless of what there letters/communications, past history suggests -(Yale, WUSTL, Penn, Stanford,Cornell, Hopkins etc) - regardless of what "tier", being waitlisted is in effect being rejected under their new approach to overbook the class initially- Id hate to see next years applicnats be as badly misled as this years group was

Don't know any numbers, just hearsay. But the M4 I ate lunch with at my interview at one point said not to worry if we don't get in outright because WashU's waitlist tends to move quite a bit.

I know, I couldn't believe it. St. Louis is actually pretty nice, I thought (at least the part where the school's in). But I guess they pick all the top candidates, and lose them to other top 10's in nicer areas...

If it was every other week they would have met this week. But maybe since they met 2 weeks in a row to speed up some of the girls, they pushed it back. But usually if there's an acceptance someone on here will sasy so. Here's hoping...

I'm heading out to St. Louis tomorrow for my interview. I have had no time (3 tests, lab report, and a presentation in less than a week) to look up how to get there from the airport and what to do. If anybody would be so kind as to point me in the right direction. I can't think right now...

Sweet jesus, the temperatures are in the mid 20s?! I'm going to freeze to death...

Umm, so my flight got cancelled to St. Louis due to an ice out so now I have a 6:50am flight tomorrow.

Not to mention my luggage is not with me because it got sent over to St. Louis. Thus, I have to change into my suit in the airport whenever I get my luggage back if I do get it back.

Anyone else in the same boat (flight cancelled)?

Sorry to hear that. Don't worry though, the interview is very laid back. Just don't lose your cool early in the morning cause it will ruin your day.

Travel in slacks, nice shoes and a a nice shirt. Worst case, you will still be dressed nicely and will have a good ice-breaking story to tell.
