I applied/ am still currently applying to MSOT and OTD schools so I thought I’d post!

applied/applying: North Central, Governor’s State, Midwestern (IL), Rush, Mount Mary, Wisconsin Milwaukee, Carroll, WashU, Davenport, Western Michigan

Interviews: North Central, Drake (declined), Western Michigan (declined), Midwestern IL (declined)

Acceptances: WashU, Governors State, Concordia Wisconsin, Lewis, Maryville, Mount Mary

Waitlist: North Central, Carroll, Wisconsin Milwaukee

Rejections: Rush

Hey! When did you apply to WashU and when did you receive your acceptance? I applied there, but haven't heard anything back.

I applied in August and got my acceptance the week before thanksgiving!

That's awesome, congratulations! I applied a few weeks ago, so not sure when I'll be hearing back. Fingers crossed!

Can you describe why you feel it's a good fit for you? What made you choose it over other schools (besides it's number one ranking). I recently was admitted and wasn't considering moving so far from home, but it's a great school, so I'm now looking into that option!

Yes it was more of a feeling. The students I spoke with seem really passionate and more diverse than other schools I visited. The history of the school and it’s role in occupational therapy was a big attraction for me. I like their history of excellence, pass rates, facilities, connections. The faculty I met also seemed extremely knowledgeable but also really caring about your success. This plus I enjoyed the city when I visited as well. Hope this helps!
