Just a recommendation to hopefully save someone an 8 hour migraine. Call up your testing center and ask them if they are still using CRT's. While all my other friends had LCD's, I ended up with a CRT that probably had a refresh rate below 50Hz with the nastiest flicker ever. I'm guessing that it was because I took it at a sylvan learn center instead of the official prometric places.

Agreed with the above poster. I had some pretty bad flicker problem on my computer screen, too. It was really noticeable at the beginning of the test, but of course your eyes will adjust as the day progresses.

i just took the test...and while i did not have a flicker problem...the quality was TERRIBLE. I had lots of trouble with the MRI's/CT's/X-rays because there was almost no contrast.

I wish I would have known this earlier...if you can take it at a center with an LCD ...DO IT....It will be worth it in the end.
