Waterloo - applying early?

Hi,

I want to ask if anybody knows whether applying early has an effect on your chances? I'm doing my OAT mid August, and was planning to apply after I get my scores since the deadline is October.

Just wondering if there would be any real advantages to applying early, and not just "to be safe"?

Canada isn't like the US
they don't give any preference based on any submission dates
